Behind the historic facade of the main building, which dates from 1740, modern glass and wood annexes snake through the trees, gently hugging the forest. The ancient, manorial walls bond beautifully with these modern elements, which also house the spa area. Blending harmoniously with the landscape around it, its windows look out over ancient trees. The snaky, curved design of Monart was inspired by the spiral – a Celtic symbol. This is reflected not only in the annexes, but also in the outdoor areas and the spa area. The loungers, for example, are set into circular recesses in the walls, and the thermal foot basins are arranged in a semicircle, with the Kneipp facilities behind.
